An incredibly challenging 3D print for the holiday season!

Recommended settings are as follows:

High quality PLA (protopasta was the most successful in my testing)

0.12mm layer height

2 to 3 perimeters

15% cubic infill

External brim to improve bed adhesion

You want to avoid the edges curling up and catching the hot end. If you see this happening (and the print colliding), it's likely to fail.

The cavity can fit a little glass vial or similar up to 22mm diameter x 50mm high. I got mine from a discount store.

Good luck!

Great Christmas Model

I am really impressed and surprised by the good quality this came out of my Prusa Core One. Printed with PETG Das Filament Transparent Rot and Prusament PETG Jungle Green. Here you can find some pictures, I did not clean up anything: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1z9luW5GJJ_pxgt_ra3NUqmJl5csGxSEK?usp=sharing
Thanks Angus!

Great Model!

Definitely quite difficult to print. I needed to increase the brim on the top part from 5 mm to 10 mm to get it to stick and slow down my print speeds a good amount for both parts. (75% & 60% on the body and top respectively). It came out pretty well though except for the overhanging edges which were a bit rough as some layers tended to curl up where they were overhanging if they were oriented a certain way to the print fan's airflow. It still works well and slides smoothly though and the triangular bridge at the top also came out nicely. Printed on a Prusa MK3.9S in their Galaxy Black & Galaxy Purple PLA. Used 0.10 mm layer height, 15% cubic infill, 2 perimeters, and brim as instructed.
